The Annual Prize Distribution Programme was held on 29th November 2025 at St Raymond’s Hall, marking a momentous occasion in the school’s academic calendar. The event commenced with the dignitaries being ceremoniously escorted into the hall by the school band, whose melodious tunes set an atmosphere of celebration and achievement.
Sr Cicilia Mendonca, the esteemed Correspondent of our school, presided over the programme with grace and dignity. The Chief Guests for this memorable event were Mr Ragu Salian, a distinguished Social Worker; Sr Lavita Moras, Superior of St Raymond’s Convent; and Sr Sadhana, Principal of St Raymond’s PU College, whose presence added grandeur to the occasion.
The programme commenced with a soulful prayer song that invoked divine blessings, followed by a graceful welcome dance performed by the talented students, which captivated the audience and set a vibrant tone for the celebrations. The welcome address was delivered by Sr. Manisha Rodrigues the headmistress extended warm greetings to all the distinguished guests and subsequently, prizes were distributed to the deserving students in recognition of their outstanding achievements in academics, sports, co-curricular activities, and various competitions. The proud recipients walked across the stage to thunderous applause, their faces beaming with joy and accomplishment.
In his inspiring message, Mr. Ragu Salian congratulated all the prize winners and motivated them to dream big and soar high. He emphasized the importance of perseverance, dedication, and maintaining strong moral values in the pursuit of success. He encouraged students to become responsible citizens who contribute positively to society.
In her presidential address, Sr. Cicilia Mendonca acknowledged the collective efforts of the teachers, parents, and students in achieving these remarkable results. She encouraged the students to strive harder, set higher goals, and excel in the coming year. Her words resonated deeply with the audience, reminding everyone that success is a continuous journey rather than a destination.
After the formal stage programme, the cultural events continued with captivating performances that highlighted the themes of cultural heritage, values, and respect for parents. Students presented traditional dances, skits, and musical renditions that showcased their diverse talents and creativity. Each performance conveyed meaningful messages.
The Annual Prize Distribution Programme 2025 will be remembered as a celebration of excellence, talent, and the unwavering commitment of St Raymond’s School to nurturing young minds and shaping future leaders.
